The construction of the uppers is solid, and the removable polyurethane footbed is also quite tough, although not as durable as the aforementioned parts, the soles also need a little work to fit true-to-size. Overall, I really enjoyed having these Irish boots for the long haul, although they do need a little more care than some other boots in this range. Overall, they would be a great choice for men or women, although I think that a more waterproof, more durable, more modern pair of boots is what you need if you are serious about your work.
